McClean ("the App") is a Mac cleaning utility developed by Ayrton ("we", "us"). We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses, what we collect, and how we handle it.
To do its job, McClean reads metadata (file names, sizes, modification dates) from well-known cache and temporary directories on your Mac, including:
~/Library/Caches)~/Library/Logs)~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData)This information is used only to display what can be cleaned and to delete the items you explicitly choose to remove. It never leaves your device.
None. McClean does not include analytics, crash reporting SDKs, advertising frameworks, or any other third-party data collection tools.
The App does not integrate any third-party services that collect data about you.
McClean is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and publish the revised version at this URL.
